Bill Ives is responsible for social media within TVissimo. This includes serving as the manager and principal writer on the TVIssimo TV Schedule Blog, as well as web facing efforts. He is also runs the internal collaboration and knowledge management system.
Bill has spent over 25 years as a consultant and writer who has worked with Fortune 100 companies in knowledge management, portals, and learning, and is most recently helping firms with their market facing blogs. For several years he led the client Knowledge Management Practice within the Human Performance Service Line at Accenture.
Bill has been writing the blog, Portals and KM, for over four years and is a contributor to two group blogs on enterprise 2.0, The App Gap and Fast Forward. He has published over 100 articles on professional topics and is a frequent conference speaker. Prior to consulting, Dr. Ives was a Research Associate at Harvard University exploring the effects of media on cognition. He obtained his Ph. D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Toronto, M. Ed. from Harvard University, and B.A. from Tufts University.
